Controversy about "The Harbinger"
After writing my respone to the book, I did a search on what others were doing and saying about "The Harbinger". It seems that there are always those who are going to find fault with religious issues presented in unique ways. After looking at many websites that are critical of the work, I looked again at the book. In 2 of the later chapters, the author makes very clear the truths presented and his reason for doing so. I realize that many would rather not face the truth. That's everyone's option. However, I still maintain that within the fictional story is a significant meaning which we would do well to consider.
Also, I wonder if this method of communicating truth is different than that of "The Chronicles of Narnia", "Pilgrim's Progress" and many other works of fiction containing spiritual meaning?
